BlueSignal
NPC Node
Coming soon
The BlueSignal NPC Node is an intelligent validation device designed to confirm and record the environmental performance of connected treatment systems. Acting as the digital “validator” in the nutrient trading network, it measures, verifies, and reports the positive or negative impact of deployed transducers, emitters, and water treatment plans in real time.
Core Functions
Impact Verification: Quantifies reductions or increases in nutrient levels, turbidity, or algae presence to confirm the effectiveness of mitigation systems.
Blockchain Validation: Securely submits verified data to the BlueSignal ledger, ensuring transparent, tamper-proof records for compliance and credit issuance.
AI-Driven Insights: Uses local computation and machine learning to detect anomalies, optimize device performance, and forecast nutrient or algae trends.
Connectivity: Communicates with on-site devices (e.g., smart buoys, sensors, transducers) via Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, or cellular links, pushing validated data to the cloud for network confirmation.
Technical Overview
Raspberry Pi–based computing core
Supports LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, or 4G modules
Secure encryption for data and device identity
Plug-and-play setup for field deployment
Optional offline caching with periodic sync
Every BlueSignal installation—whether a smart buoy or a land-based runoff treatment system—can include an NPC Node to verify impact results. These validator nodes uphold system integrity, ensure fair trading of nutrient credits, and maintain scientific accountability across the network.
