Limited Warranty

Effective Date: October 1, 2025

Applies To:
Smart Buoy (NC-BUOY-001), Ultrasonic Emitter (NC-EMIT-001), Nutrient Sensor (NC-SENS-001), NPC Gateway (NC-GW-001), and BlueSignal System Bundles (NC-BNDL-001).

1. Coverage

BlueSignal LTD warrants that the above devices (“Products”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase (“Warranty Period”).

During the Warranty Period, BlueSignal LTD will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective Product using new or refurbished parts,

  • Replace the defective Product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater value, or

  • Issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) for return and replacement.

For Smart Buoy and Ultrasonic Emitter products, warranty coverage applies only after completion of BlueSignal LTD‘s quality assurance and pre-installation commissioning process.

2. Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or improper installation.

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., algae emitter heads, sensor tips, or batteries).

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs not performed by BlueSignal LTD or its authorized service providers.

  • Damage caused by natural disasters, lightning strikes, floods, or power surges.

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.

  • Software, firmware, or cloud services, which are provided “as is.”

Products installed by non-authorized personnel may be excluded from warranty coverage if installation does not follow BlueSignal LTD‘s approved procedures.

3. Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Contact BlueSignal LTD Support at support@bluesignal.tech with proof of purchase, product serial number, and a description of the issue.

  2. If the claim is validated, BlueSignal LTD will issue an RMA number and provide return instructions.

  3. The customer is responsible for shipping the Product to BlueSignal LTD. BlueSignal LTD covers return shipping for repaired or replacement units within the United States.

  4. Repaired or replacement Products are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or 90 days, whichever is longer.

4. Limitations of Liability

This Limited Warranty is the exclusive remedy for defective Products. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • BlueSignal’s total liability is limited to the purchase price of the Product.

  • BlueSignal shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, environmental outcomes, data, or crop yields.

5. Governing Law

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

6. Additional Notes

  • Extended warranty and calibration services are available for certain Products at bluesignal.xyz/service.

  • BlueSignal reserves the right to use refurbished parts or units for warranty service.

  • By purchasing and using BlueSignal Products, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Limited Warranty.
