Where do you operate?

We currently serve Austin, Texas and the surrounding region.
Hardware installs may extend outside Austin depending on the scope and project needs.

How much does deck pressure washing cost?

A flat $199.99 for standard residential deck or dock cleaning.

How do I book a service?

Contact BlueSignal through our website, by text, or email. A team member will confirm your appointment and collect the necessary details.

Do you offer recurring services?

Yes — many customers choose quarterly cleanings or scheduled maintenance. Contractors can also request recurring assignments.

Contractors & Work 👷‍♂️

How do contractors get paid?

All contractors are paid through Upwork using fixed-price milestones.
Each job = one milestone.
Once the work is verified, the milestone is released.

Do contractors need previous experience?

Experience helps, but it’s not required. BlueSignal provides training videos and step-by-step workflows for deck cleaning, solar cleaning, and hardware installs.

Do I need my own tools?

• Yes for field roles (pressure washer, hoses, solar-safe cleaning equipment).
• For hardware installs, BlueSignal provides guidance and may supply certain components when needed.

How do job assignments work?

You’ll receive a job message containing:

• Customer name
• Address
• Job type
• Special notes
• Required photo documentation

You confirm the assignment, complete the job, and submit your proof.

Referrals 🎉

How does the referral program work?

Anyone — contractors, partners, friends — can refer customers.

Referral payouts:
• $25 per deck cleaning referral
• $20 per solar cleaning referral
• 5% of hardware sale + installation revenue

When do I get paid for a referral?

After the job is completed and the customer has paid.

Why does BlueSignal use Upwork?

Upwork offers:

• Automatic tax documentation
• Fast releases
• Built-in protection for both sides

How long do payouts take?

Upwork releases funds within a few days after the milestone is marked complete and verified.

Customer Experience 🤝

Do customers need to be home for service?

Not always.

• Deck cleaning often only needs access to an outdoor spigot.
• Solar cleaning may require roof access.
• Hardware installs depend on the location and device.

What if a customer has a question or issue?

Contractors should always direct customers back to BlueSignal.
We handle pricing, scheduling, support, and follow-ups.
